Can you describe the events of Sai Baba's three-day samadhi in 1886?

📖 Chapter 44

Thirty-two years before his final passing, on a full moon day, Sai Baba experienced an asthma attack and decided to enter a state of samadhi for three days. As detailed in Chapter 44, he told his devotees he was drawing his life force into the crown of his head and instructed them not to wake him. His body became motionless, with no breath or pulse. He specifically addressed Mhalasapati, telling him not to neglect him and pointing to a spot for a samadhi. While Mhalasapati faithfully guarded Baba, a debate raged among the onlookers, with some believing he had died and others insisting they wait the full three days as instructed.
