Can you describe the encounter between the sannyasi Vijayananda and Swami Somdevji in Shirdi?

📖 Chapter 31

According to the narrative in Chapter 31, the sannyasi Vijayananda, who was traveling from Madras to Mansarovar, naturally met Swami Somdevji of Haridwar in the assembly of devotees in Shirdi. Vijayananda asked the Swami about the distance to Mansarovar. Swami Somdevji replied that it was about five hundred miles away, near Gangotri's source. He then detailed the challenges of the journey, including heavy snowfall, language barriers changing every fifty miles, and the hardships outsiders face. As Chapter 31 recounts, hearing this news from the Swami's mouth caused the sannyasi to become dejected and immersed in worry about his pilgrimage.
