Can you describe the conditions of the Chavadi where Amir Shakkar was told to stay for his cure?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 22

The Chavadi was an extremely challenging place to reside, making Baba's instruction for Amir to stay there a severe test of faith. Chapter 22 paints a vivid picture of its state. It was an old, dilapidated building where lizards, house lizards, and poisonous scorpions lived freely. Furthermore, lepers also stayed there, and dogs would eat leftovers on the premises. The text describes garbage piled in the back, seventeen knee-deep holes, and pervasive dampness from the ground below and rain from above. The combination of wind, cold, and uneven ground made it a miserable environment, a true 'pilgrimage of a lifetime' in terms of hardship.
