The Chavadi procession was a grand and joyous event. As detailed in Chapter 51, Baba would alternate his nights between the Masjid and the Chavadi. On procession nights, a palanquin was prepared while devotees sang abhangs. The procession was a splendid affair, featuring a decorated horse named Shyam-Sundar, musical instruments like horns and trumpets, and a royal umbrella held over Baba's head.
