Can you describe the Chavadi procession of Sai Baba as it is detailed in the Shri Sai Satcharita?

📖 Chapter 51

Certainly. The Chavadi procession was a grand and joyous event. As described in Chapter 51, it would begin with a bhajan session held in the courtyard before Baba, accompanied by cymbals and mridanga. While abhangs were sung, the palanquin was decorated. The procession featured a beautifully adorned horse named Shyam-Sundar dancing at the front, along with the sounds of horns, bugles, and trumpets. Devotees would carry flags and banners, fan Baba with whisks, and hold torches, all while singing bhajans on both sides of Baba as they joyfully made their way to the Chavadi.
