Can you describe the atmosphere and the activities that took place at the Masjid before the Chavadi procession began?

📖 Chapter 37

Certainly. Before the Chavadi procession, the Masjid would fill with a vibrant and devotional atmosphere. According to Chapter 37, a bhajan group would arrive and their singing would continue in the pavilion until midnight. The scene was set with a beautiful chariot behind, a Tulsi altar to the right, and Sai Baba seated in the front, with devotees gathered in the middle for the bhajan. Devotees, both men and women, would eagerly join, playing instruments like cymbals, wooden clappers, mridangas, and tambourines, collectively raising what is described as a 'storm of bhajan.' This lively and devotional gathering was a key prelude to the main procession to the Chavadi.
