Can you describe the atmosphere and activities during the Chavadi celebrations?

📖 Chapter 37

The Chavadi celebrations were vibrant and filled with devotion. As described in Chapter 37, when the night for the Chavadi came, a bhajan group would assemble at the Masjid and perform in the pavilion until midnight. Devotees, both men and women, would eagerly join, using instruments like cymbals, small wooden clappers, the mridanga, and tambourines to 'raise a storm of bhajan.' The author notes that the powerful magnet Sai would attract his iron-like devotees, drawing them to His feet. The entire scene was festive, with torches, a decorated palanquin, and victory slogans from mace-bearers.
