Can you describe Sai Baba's unpredictable nature and state of being as portrayed in Chapter 37?

📖 Chapter 37

Chapter 37 portrays Sai Baba's state of being as incomprehensible, marvelous, and profoundly unpredictable. The text describes Him as sometimes being intoxicated with Brahmananda (the bliss of the Self) and other times being fully satisfied with Self-knowledge. He could perform all worldly actions while remaining completely detached. Though He might appear inactive, He was never asleep but always alert, with His mind fixed on His true Self. The author uses the metaphor of the ocean to describe Him—pleasant on the surface, yet deep, profound, and ultimately difficult to fathom. This illustrates that His true form and actions were beyond ordinary human comprehension.
