Sai Baba was deeply and personally involved in every stage of cooking the food for the Handi, as detailed in Chapter 38. He would personally go to the grocer to buy all the necessary ingredients like salt, chili, vegetables, and coconut, paying in cash. Back in the Masjid, He would grind wheat, pulses, and spices Himself using a grinding stone. He tirelessly managed the fire, adjusted the fuel, and cooked dishes like 'Pole' (flatbreads) and 'Ambil' (gruel), demonstrating immense devotion and labor for the sake of feeding the hungry.
