Can you describe Sai Baba's living conditions and daily practices when he first started staying in the mosque?

📖 Chapter 5

According to Chapter 5, Sai Baba's life in the mosque was one of extreme simplicity. His favorite seat was a spot where he would sit facing south, awake for all twenty-four hours. He wore only a loincloth and used a sacred fire, or dhuni, for warmth. Into this fire, he would offer his ego, desires, and all worldly inclinations as symbolic oblations. The mosque itself was very small, just two bays, serving as his space to sit, stand, sleep, and meet everyone. It was only later that comforts like mattresses and pillows appeared as more devotees gathered around him.
