Can you describe Sai Baba's journey to Shirdi and his first encounters there?

Chapter 0 explains that Maharaj's journey to Shirdi began after a stay at Chandbhai's house, where he had miraculously produced fire from the ground with his tongs. He traveled to Shirdi with the wedding procession of Chandbhai's wife's nephew. Upon arrival, the procession stopped near the Khandoba temple. It was here that Maharaj met Mhalasapati, who welcomed him as 'Sai Baba.' Mhalasapati then introduced Maharaj to his companions, Kashiram Shimpi and Appa Jagle, who would become his earliest devotees in the village.
