Can you describe Sai Baba's daily life and habits when he first started living in the mosque?

According to Chapter 5, Sai Baba's life in the mosque was one of extreme austerity. The mosque itself was very small, just two bays where he sat, stood, slept, and met people. His favorite seat was a spot where he would sit facing south, with his left hand on the railing, watching the sacred fire, or dhuni. He wore only a loincloth and used the dhuni for warmth. Into this fire, he would offer his ego, desires, and worldly inclinations, constantly repeating "Allah-Malik." Initially, he didn't have mattresses or pillows; these came later as his following grew. Before his time in the mosque, he lived in the Takia, where he would dance and sing.
