Sai Baba had a profound and skillful way of bestowing grace upon his devotees using the book readings at Sathe's Wada. Chapter 18 reveals that after giving permission for the reading to begin, Baba would often send devotees who came to meet him at the Masjid over to the Wada to listen. His method was sometimes quite miraculous; He would tell a devotee a short story, and then, while the person was still absorbing it, He would instruct them to go listen to the book reading. The 'great wonder' for the listeners was that upon arriving at the Wada, they would find that the exact same story Baba had just told them was coming up in the reading, providing confirmation and a full understanding of Baba's teaching.
