When Shama presented Bapusaheb Buti's plan for the temple, Sai Baba's reaction was one of joy. Chapter 39 recounts his enthusiastic approval, saying, "Very well! After the temple is complete, we too shall come to stay there." He then spoke prophetic words while looking toward the mansion: "After the mansion is finished, we will use it for ourselves. There we shall talk and walk; there we shall all play together. We will embrace each other with love and enjoy a bounty of joy."
