The preface in chapter 0 discusses several other Guru biographies beyond the two most famous ones. A detailed and scholarly biography was written by Shri Samarth Sadguru Tembhe Swami, also known as Vasudevanand Saraswati Maharaj, though it has not achieved the same level of fame as the work by Shri Saraswati Gangadhar. Another work by Shri Samarth Sadguru Dattatreya Maharaj of Balekundri is mentioned, but it had not been printed or published at the time of writing. Additionally, Shri Dasganu Maharaj, a devotee of Shri Sai Baba, composed two shorter but excellent and heart-touching biographies in his works 'Bhaktalilamrut' and 'Bhaktisaramrut'.
