Before leaving for the Chavadi, what specific rituals did Sai Baba perform in the Masjid?

Before setting out for the Chavadi procession, Sai Baba performed a series of personal rituals within the Masjid, as described in Chapter 37. After getting ready in His usual kafni and having a shawl placed over Him by Tatya, Baba would go to a spot where a bundle of firewood was kept. He would move His right big toe at that spot for a moment. Then, in a significant act, He would personally wave His right hand over the burning flame there to extinguish it before finally beginning the procession towards the Chavadi.
