Based on the teachings in Chapter 48, what is the ideal relationship and attitude a Sadguru should have towards their disciple?

📖 Chapter 48

Chapter 48 provides a profound description of the ideal relationship between a Sadguru and a disciple. A true Sadguru is completely free from the egoism of thinking they are great while the disciple is insignificant. Instead, they wish to sacrifice their own body for the disciple's sake and never even dream of receiving service. As mentioned in the chapter, a Sadguru considers the disciple as the Supreme Brahman and holds a fatherly love for them, never desiring to make a livelihood from them. This selfless, egoless, and loving attitude, where the small and great are treated as equals, is the hallmark of the most superior Sadguru.
