Based on the forty-sixth chapter, what are the characteristics and benefits of having true devotion to the Guru?

📖 Chapter 46

Chapter 46 describes true devotion as loving the Guru with heart and soul, which is defined as 'Dharma'. A key sign of such devotion is when the seeker becomes inclined towards peace. The chapter asserts that when one has this kind of devotion, Peace, Detachment, and Fame remain under their control. It states that such a devotee will lack nothing and will obtain whatever they desire without effort. In fact, the greatness of this devotion is such that the state of Brahman-realization is said to serve the devotee like a maid-servant, and liberation is attained without even asking for it.
