Based on the account of Balasaheb Deo, what was his attitude towards spiritual reading, and what specific commitment did he make regarding the Dnyaneshwari?

📖 Chapter 41

Balasaheb Deo held spiritual reading in high regard and had a great desire to read the Dnyaneshwari daily. However, as Chapter 41 illustrates, he was deeply troubled by his inability to maintain this practice due to persistent obstacles and internal doubts. His attitude shifted from one of determined effort to one of complete surrender. He made a solemn commitment, with faith at Sai's feet, to suspend his efforts entirely. He resolved that he would only resume reading the Dnyaneshwari upon receiving a direct, unambiguous order from Sai Baba himself. This resolve was so firm that when Jog later asked him in Shirdi why he wasn't reading it, Deo explained that his great desire was not reaching fulfillment on its own.
