Based on Chapter 5, what are the characteristics of a wise person and how does one achieve selflessness?

📖 Chapter 5

Chapter 5 elaborates on the nature of a truly wise person, stating that their bodily activities are dictated by previous karma, and they are not the doer of karma. Such an individual resides in non-duality, meaning their sense of self encompasses the entire universe. The chapter posits that achieving this state and one's own welfare requires acting without pride. To climb the "fort of selflessness," one must make a firm resolution in their mind. The text from Chapter 5 clearly states, "He who has burned the pride of the body has made this body meaningful; he then can become anyone's disciple to achieve the supreme goal." Sai Baba's own conduct of treating another as his Guru serves as the prime example of this principle in action.
