Based on Chapter 48, describe the ideal relationship and attitude a Sadguru has towards their disciple.

📖 Chapter 48

Chapter 48 portrays the ideal Sadguru-disciple relationship as one of profound selflessness and love on the part of the Guru. A true Sadguru is 'free from the egoism of thinking "The disciple is an insignificant thing and the Guru is the greatest of the great"'. Instead of seeking service, a Sadguru wishes to sacrifice their own body for the disciple's sake and does not desire their own livelihood from them. This chapter explains that a Sadguru views the disciple as the Supreme Brahman and has a 'fatherly love' for them, making them a true benefactor and the 'most superior in the world'.
