Based on Chapter 33, what is the importance of acting on our initial good thoughts?

📖 Chapter 33

Chapter 33 strongly advises that we should value and act upon the initial good impulses that arise in our minds. The text describes the mind as a place of 'resolves and counter-resolves,' where good intentions can easily be abandoned. The story of Haribhau Karnik serves as the primary example. He felt the urge to give Baba an extra Rupee but then dismissed the thought. Sai, in his omniscience, arranged to receive that Rupee later through Narsing Maharaj, demonstrating the power and validity of that initial good inclination. The chapter suggests that if we nurture these positive impulses and maintain them with 'firm practice' and 'deep meditation,' it will be beneficial for our spiritual path, reinforcing the idea that our pure intentions are always seen and valued by the Guru.
