Based on Chapter 19, what is the path to liberation and what prevents a person from attaining it?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 19

According to Chapter 19, the primary obstacle to liberation is the ego-driven identification with the physical self, expressed as the feeling of "I am the body." As long as this ego regarding the body, mind, and intellect persists, the sense of being a "doer" and "enjoyer" remains, making the experience of pleasure and pain unavoidable. The path to liberation, as outlined in this chapter, requires breaking this false identification. Chapter 19 states that there is no liberation without knowledge, and knowledge is unattainable without detachment. This detachment only arises when the mind truly perceives the world as transient, which is the first step toward attaining the Supreme Self.
