Based on Chapter 19, what is the nature of the Soul and how is it affected by Maya or worldly perception?

📖 Chapter 19

Chapter 19 teaches that the Soul is self-luminous, pure consciousness, changeless, and formless. It is distinct from the body, senses, and mind. The text explains that the Soul appears in this world according to the actions of Maya (the Unmanifest Nature), but remains untainted. It uses the analogy of a crystal, which may appear red or yellow depending on the color placed near it, but in reality, it remains pure, distinct, and free from change. Similarly, the Soul is untainted by the world, just as a rope mistakenly seen as a snake is not actually a snake.
