Based on Chapter 14, how did Sai Baba interact with his devotees regarding Dakshina, and what was his stated philosophy behind it?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 14

Chapter 14 illustrates that Sai Baba had a distinct practice of requesting Dakshina, or an offering, from all devotees who came for his darshan, irrespective of their faith. Upon Ratanji's arrival, Baba immediately asked him for Dakshina. The text notes that He would ask for amounts ranging from a few rupees to thousands or even more, sometimes pushing devotees to take a loan if they claimed to have no more money. However, this was not about accumulating wealth. Baba would reassure devotees, stating, 'I will give you bags of rupees,' and reminding them that his only true connection was with Allah. He also expressed that for a devotee who loves him dearly, 'if he gives Me one quality, I give him a hundred qualities in return.'
