Amidst all the chaos of the procession with its music and crowds, what was Sai Baba's personal appearance and demeanor like?

📖 Chapter 37

Sai Baba's presence was the serene and distinct heart of the vibrant procession. According to Chapter 37, He wore His usual kafni, had His short stick (satka) tucked under His arm, and carried His tobacco and pipe. A key detail of His appearance was the beautiful golden-bordered shawl that Tatya Patil would place over Him and adjust on His head before they departed. Far from being lost in the crowd, His demeanor was described as luminous and beautiful. As He stood before the Chavadi, the beauty of His face was said to be incomparable, glowing like "molten gold in the red evening sky" or the rising sun, indicating a tranquil and radiant presence.
