After Sai Baba miraculously fulfilled his craving for khaja, Laxmichand's love and devotion became firmly fixed on Baba. As described in Chapter 28, this experience transformed his faith into a regular practice of worship. He began a routine of sending offerings to Shirdi whenever he found someone traveling there. Specifically, he would regularly send a garland, dakshina (a monetary offering), camphor, and incense to Baba.
