After Hemadpant retired, how did Sai Baba instruct him to perform His service?

According to Chapter 3, after Anna Chinchonikar expressed concern for Hemadpant's finances, Sai Baba redirected the focus from worldly employment to spiritual service. Baba declared, "Now he should do my service; he will find happiness in the household." This service was not merely a ritual but a profound shift in consciousness. Baba explained that Hemadpant should understand that Sai's physical body is perishable, but the true self, the Brahman, is eternal and worthy of worship. The practice involved cultivating the feeling that Sai is everywhere, permeating all of creation as the eightfold nature (Ashtadha-prakriti). True service, in Baba's view, was to see Him in everything, which would lead to finding an "eternal treasure."
