📖 Chapter 3

According to Chapter 3, after Annasaheb Dabholkar (Hemadpant) completed his government service in 1916, he visited Shirdi on Guru Purnima. A devotee named Anna Chinchonikar, who was very concerned for him, pleaded with Sai Baba. He asked Baba to find another job for Annasaheb, worrying that his pension would not be enough for his growing household. Baba replied that Annasaheb would get a job but should now focus on doing His service. He gave a profound assurance, stating that Annasaheb's "plates are always full; they will never be empty as long as he lives." Baba promised that by remaining devoted with feeling, his calamities would be removed and he would find happiness in his household.
