After Baba finished cooking in the Handi, what was the process for serving the food?

Once the food was fully cooked, Sai Baba followed a specific and meaningful procedure for its distribution, as described in Chapter 38. First, he would have the Handi brought into the Masjid. A Maulvi would then be called to formally offer the "Fatya," or consecration prayer, over the food. After this blessing, the very first portions of the "Prasad" were sent to his close devotees, Mhalasapati and Tatya. Following that, Baba would personally serve the remaining food with his own hands to the poor and weak, finding great joy and contentment in satisfying the hungry.
