According to the text, how did Sai Baba get his name?

The name 'Sai Baba' was bestowed upon him when he first entered Shirdi. As detailed in Chapter 0, Maharaj arrived with a wedding procession and went into the Khandoba temple. There, a resident of Shirdi named Mhalasapati, who was a goldsmith and a devotee of Khandoba, saw him for the first time. Upon seeing him, Mhalasapati greeted him with the words 'Aavo Sai Baba,' which means 'Come, Sai Baba.' The text explicitly states that he held that name until the end. It is also noted that when his testimony was taken in a commission and he was asked his name, he replied, 'They call me Sai Baba.'
