Chapter 37 redefines heaven not as a physical location but as a state of being. It states that the true heavenly world is the Vairaj (the Cosmic Being) itself—the Virat or Cosmic Self-form. This state is characterized by being free from mental grief, disease, worry, sorrow, hunger, thirst, and the fear of old age or death. To enter this state, one must cross the "nooses of death," which are identified as adharma (unrighteousness), ignorance, anger, and hatred. By overcoming these, a soul moves about fearlessly, experiencing the divine heavenly state which is the realization of the all-pervading principle, Brahman.
According to the teachings in the Satcharitra, what is the true nature of the "heavenly world," and how can one enter it?
