According to the teachings in Chapter 50, what is the unique role of a Sadguru compared to a worldly father?

📖 Chapter 50

Chapter 50 provides a profound distinction between a worldly father and a Sadguru. While it acknowledges various types of fathers—the progenitor, the one who performs the thread ceremony, the protector, and the one who saves from fear—it elevates the Sadguru as an "extraordinary progenitor." According to the text, a worldly father gives physical birth through the womb, but the Sadguru gives a spiritual birth to the disciple. As Chapter 50 wondrously explains, the Sadguru achieves this "without spending a drop of seed, without the lower birth canal," by granting full spiritual initiation or 'Anugraha.' This act of grace can end the cycle of birth and death, making the Sadguru the true father who leads a disciple to ultimate liberation.
