According to the teachings in Chapter 37, what causes a person to be trapped in the cycle of birth and death?

πŸ“– Chapter 37

Chapter 37 explains that the cycle of worldly existence, or Samsara, is perpetuated by a fundamental ignorance and a sense of separateness from the divine. A soul becomes deluded by this ignorance and believes, 'Parabrahman is different from me; I am not that, I am something else.' The text clearly states that he who has this knowledge of difference is always subject to death, which is followed by rebirth. This eternal cycle turns behind such an individual. The 'nooses of death' that bind a person are further identified as adharma (unrighteousness), ignorance, anger, and hatred.
