According to the teachings in Chapter 23, what causes the soul's distress, and what is the prescribed way to find peace?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 23

Chapter 23 explains that the soul, in its true state, is beyond the three gunas and is one with Existence-Consciousness-Bliss (Sacchidananda). However, it becomes deluded by Maya, forgets its true nature, and mistakenly identifies with the body. This leads to pride and the false belief of being the "doer" and "enjoyer," resulting in a cycle of calamities and distress. According to this chapter, the only way to calm these calamities and escape this delusion is through loving devotion (Bhakti Yoga) at the feet of the Guru. It is through the Guru's grace that the devotee can overcome sorrow and delusion to quickly attain peace.
