Chapter 37 explains that Sai Baba had a consistent, alternating routine for sleeping. He would spend one night in the Masjid and the very next night at the Chavadi. This sequence was followed continuously until His Samadhi. While this practice was long-standing, the more formal and elaborate celebrations associated with the Chavadi procession, which included organized worship, bhajan, and adoration, officially commenced from the 10th of December, 1910. This marked the beginning of the grand procession that devotees cherished.
