According to the Satcharita, when did Sai Baba actually die?

The Satcharita posits that the concept of death, as we understand it, does not apply to Sai Baba. Chapter 43 explains that for great beings who incarnate for the welfare of devotees, birth and death are considered 'false imaginations.' Instead of dying, it is described that Sai Samarth could die at will and chose to merge Himself into the unmanifest by burning His body in the fire of Yoga. The text argues against the idea that His body perished, stating He transcended the material state to attain His previous unmanifest form, where He continues to exist in the hearts of His devotees.
