According to the Satcharita, what distinguishes a true devotee from someone who is not?

Based on Chapter 49, a true devotee is defined by their complete lack of ego and pride in their body or knowledge. The text states that one who has pride in their body does not deserve the title of 'Devotee,' and true 'Devotee-hood' belongs to the one completely devoid of ego. In contrast, those with arrogance of knowledge and hypocrisy have no real prestige. The author emphasizes that true wealth is love for the Guru's feet, and the highest form of devotion is meditating on one's Guru, which is considered greater than pilgrimages, sacrifices, or even singing Hari's name.
