As Chapter 49 clarifies, true "Devotee-hood" belongs to those who lack arrogance, hypocrisy, and a sense of superiority. Conversely, the text strongly criticizes those who possess an arrogance of knowledge or are merely an abode of hypocrisy. It states that those unfortunate ones who harbor pride and do not sing the fame of their Guru with love are the personification of dull-wittedness. The core principle is that love for the Guru's feet is the only true wealth, and one must surrender at the Sadguru’s feet to find stillness of mind.
