According to Sai Baba, what is the path to dissolving desires and finding inner peace?

📖 Chapter 3

According to the teachings in Chapter 3, Sai Baba explains that the key to dissolving desire is to understand one's true identity. He states that desires arise in the intellect and have no connection to the Soul. Since Sai Maharaj is the form of the Soul itself, He is inherently without desire. The path to freedom from desire, therefore, involves deep self-inquiry into the question 'Who am I?'. When a person truly understands this essence and recognizes the omnipresence of the Self, the false constructs of 'I' and 'mine' dissolve. Baba poetically describes that upon this realization, various desires 'dissolve like hail heated by the rays of the sun,' leading to inner peace.
