According to Sai Baba's teachings in this section, what is the ultimate way to overcome worldly desires?

📖 Chapter 3

Sai Baba taught that the key to transcending worldly desires is through self-realization. As detailed in Chapter 3, he explained that desires originate in the intellect and have no connection to the Soul, which is one's true nature. Since Sai Maharaj is the form of the Soul itself, he is inherently without desire. The ultimate method for overcoming desire is to deeply investigate the question, "Who am I?". When one understands this truth and realizes their identity with the all-pervading Self, the concepts of 'I' and 'mine' dissolve. This realization, as Baba described it, causes various desires to melt away completely, much like hailstones vanish when struck by the warm rays of the sun.
