He states, "Where there is a mind for argumentation, there is abundance of ignorance and Maya." Such a person is characterized by bad thoughts and false logic, and they lack the purity of self-interest required for spiritual seeking. Consequently, they are deemed unfit for self-knowledge and are instead devoured by their own ignorance. Baba warns that this mindset leads to unhappiness in both this world and the next.
