According to Sai Baba, how does an argumentative mind prevent a person from attaining self-knowledge?

📖 Chapter 2

Sai Baba, as quoted in Chapter 2, explains that an argumentative mind is a significant barrier to spiritual progress. He states, "Where there is a mind for argumentation, there is abundance of ignorance and Maya." Such a person is characterized by bad thoughts and false logic, and they lack the purity of self-interest required for spiritual seeking. Consequently, they are deemed unfit for self-knowledge and are instead devoured by their own ignorance. Baba warns that this mindset leads to unhappiness in both this world and the next. He advises against engaging in dualistic explanations and refuting others, calling it a "useless effort" that prevents one from achieving true happiness or wisdom.
