According to Chapter 9, what are the dual rules regarding departure from Shirdi and what happens if they are not followed?

📖 Chapter 9

Chapter 9 establishes a strict two-part rule for pilgrims departing from Shirdi. The first rule is that one must not leave without first obtaining Sai Baba's explicit permission. The text warns that to do so is to invite obstacles and trouble. The second, complementary rule is that once permission has been granted, a devotee should not stay in Shirdi for even a moment longer, as lingering also brings trouble. As Chapter 9 recounts, those who acted outside of his orders suffered greatly, with some being looted by thieves, while others who rushed their departure against his advice found themselves stranded without transport and hungry.
