According to Chapter 50, why is a Guru necessary to overcome Maya and doubt?

Chapter 50 explains that the entire illusion of name and form is the confusion of Maya, which is very difficult to cross over. This illusion arises from imagination and gives birth to the states of bondage and liberation. The text highlights that ignorance manifests from doubt (vikalpa), and even a supreme knower like Shuka suffered because of it. Crucially, it states that this doubt cannot be removed without a Guru. When doubt enters knowledge, even a wise person can become prideful. Therefore, a Guru is essential to help remove this foundational ignorance, purify the mind, and allow infinite knowledge to manifest, leading to non-dual Samadhi.
