According to Chapter 37, what is the root cause of being trapped in the cycle of rebirth, and what is the path to liberation?

The root cause of being trapped in the cycle of worldly existence (Samsara) is the delusion of duality born from ignorance. Chapter 37 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra explicitly states that one who believes "Parabrahman is different from me; I am not that" is always subject to the cycle of death and rebirth. This knowledge of difference is the primary obstacle. The path to liberation, therefore, is through realizing the fundamental oneness of the Self and Brahman. The text explains that the same divine principle pervades everything from the creator down to a blade of grass. Overcoming the illusion of separation is the means to cross beyond the nooses of death and attain a fearless state.
