According to Chapter 37, what is the consequence of perceiving a difference between oneself and Parabrahman, and how does this relate to the cycle of Samsara?

📖 Chapter 37

Chapter 37 explains a key philosophical concept regarding the perception of duality and its consequences. It states that the same divine principle pervades everything, from the creator Brahma down to a blade of grass. However, a soul deluded by ignorance may see things differently. The text warns that anyone who holds the "knowledge of difference"—believing "Parabrahman is different from me; I am not that"—is always subject to death. This perception of separation perpetuates the cycle of worldly existence, or Samsara. As Chapter 37 clarifies, for such an individual, death follows birth, and rebirth follows death, causing the wheel of Samsara to turn eternally behind them. This highlights the importance of realizing non-duality to escape this perpetual cycle.
