As explained in Chapter 37, what people commonly call 'death' is merely the manifest state returning to the unmanifest. The true 'nooses of death' are identified as Adharma (unrighteousness), ignorance, anger, and hatred. The scripture states that the one who successfully crosses these internal obstacles is the one who truly enters the heavenly world. This heavenly state is not a physical location but the Vairaj (the Cosmic Being) itself, a state free from mental grief, disease, worry, and sorrow, where the soul can move about completely fearless.
