According to Chapter 34, why did the family from Malegaon decide to seek Sai Baba's help for their son?

📖 Chapter 34

The family from Malegaon turned to Sai Baba as a last resort after all other options had failed. Chapter 34 explains that the doctor's nephew suffered from a 'most difficult and extraordinary malady' known as a bone-cyst. His uncle, a doctor himself, along with other expert physicians and surgeons, had exhausted all native and foreign treatments, including surgery, to no avail. The young boy was in constant pain, and the family was distressed. It was only after reaching the limit of all remedies that they heard of a famous saint, Sai Maharaj of Shirdi, whose Udi was said to cure incurable diseases. Desperate, they decided to try this final option to avert the calamity.
