According to Chapter 34, what was the emotional state and thought process of the parents who brought their sick child to Shirdi?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 34

As depicted in Chapter 34, the parents of the child with the bone-cyst were in a state of great distress and worry. After seeing all medical treatments, including surgery, fail, they felt helpless and exhausted. It was only when remedies had reached their limit that they heard of Sai Baba, a famous Avaliya in Shirdi. A desire to see him arose, and they decided to try this spiritual path as a 'last resort,' hoping this calamity would be averted. Eager for Sai's darshan, they traveled quickly to Shirdi. Upon meeting Baba, Chapter 34 describes them pleading with choked voices and pitiful faces, prostrating at his feet and explaining how they could not bear to see their son's suffering. They came seeking refuge with total devotion, asking for the 'gift of life' for their son.
