According to Chapter 26, why is a Guru considered absolutely essential for spiritual awakening?

Chapter 26 of the Sai Satcharitra posits that a Guru is indispensable for spiritual awakening because the perceived world is an illusion of Maya, and only a Guru can bestow the true knowledge needed to see beyond it. The text explains that due to ignorance, one's perception is flawed, like mistaking a rope for a snake. This illusion persists until the "time for awakening through the Guru’s word arrives."
